Ovechkin Can’t Take Flight

WASHINGTON, DC – October 19, 2010:  Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin (#8) tries to get a shot off from mid air during their NHL ice hockey game against the Boston Bruins at Verizon Center.

Alex Ovechkin couldn’t take flight against the Boston bruins last night. Supergoalie of late, Michal Neuvirth was taken down by the flu after giving up two goals in the first period, the puck went missing in the third (the officials couldn’t find it in Backstroms pants), sticks shattered, and it just didn’t get better from there.
