Can’t Quite Reach

Wideman Can't Stop Peverley

The Washington Capitals lost to the Boston Bruins by a score of 4-1 today at Verizon Center and Brooks Laich to a leg injury and Dimitri Orlov to a second puck to the face in a second consecutive game.  After Marcus Johansson’s third period goal for the Caps, my brother texted me “So much for the beautiful symmetry of 3-0, 0-3,” having done the 0-3, 3-0, 0-3 thing just a  few weeks ago.

I spent a fair amount of time talking to the guy that has the two seats next to me. He and I both got our seats in 420 in April 2008.

He’s thinking about not renewing for next year.

Japer’s Rink, Russian Machine, On Frozen Blog, and Ed Frankovic share some thoughts on the game, but what else is there to say?

My photos are below and are on flickr. Thanks for looking.

Check These Out, Too!
