The day was doomed before it started. A few crummy emails were waiting for me at work first thing in the morning. I couldn’t shovel the negativity to the side faster than it came my office door all day. It rained before it was supposed to. Then came the game. Blech. The Washington Capitals lost to the New Jersey Devils by a score of 5-0 last night.
I suppose it could have been worse, but it could have been so much better. If you want to read about it, and I’m not sure why you would, these are some good places: Russian Machine, Japer’s Rink, and District Sports Page.
