WASHINGTON, DC – October 9, 2010: The 2010-11 Washington Capitals starting line up for their NHL season’s home opener against the New Jersey Devils at Verizon Center peel off after the national anthem.

I kind of like this one.  Despite it being out of focus.

Caps Fans Cheer From the Cheap Seats

Fans cheer from the cheap seats in the third period of an NHL ice hockey game at Verizon Center between the Washington Capitals and New Jersey Devils.

The Washington Capitals play their first home game of the 2010-11 season against the New Jersey Devils tonight at Verizon Center after a disappointing 4-2 loss to the Atlanta Thrashers last night in Atlanta.

The last time the Devils played in Washington, The Capitals won 4-1, with their goals coming from Alex Ovechkin, Matt Bradley, Nicklas Backstrom, and Mike Green.  Michal Neuvirth was the winning goaltender, and Martin Brodeur the loser.  The same goalies are scheduled to start tonight.
